Abstract
This study investigates PVDF-HFP-modified p–i–n perovskite solar cells under space-relevant coupled vacuum, light, and thermal stress conditions. Under combined vacuum + light (V+L) stress, PVDF-HFP devices retain 85.1% of their initial PCE after 1000 h, compared with 74.6% for pristine devices. Under vacuum + heat (V+H) stress, PVDF-HFP suppresses phase degradation and electronic disorder, while interface-resolved analysis identifies the PVSK/PCBM junction as the primary thermal failure site. Weibull-Arrhenius analysis shows a higher activation energy for PVDF-HFP devices (0.95 eV) than for pristine devices (0.83 eV), together with a longer predicted room-temperature lifetime (2491 h vs 1444 h). These results demonstrate that PVDF-HFP is effective for improving PSC reliability under coupled space-relevant stress conditions.
