Abstract
As part of our efforts to advance modularization, this experiment explores how blade coating speed and substrate temperature impact perovskite crystal growth. Optimal blade coating conditions are then adapted for slot die coating of perovskite precursor onto a hydrophobic transport layer. Results show varying temperatures and speeds significantly affect crystal size, film texture, and thickness. Lower temperatures yield fragmented crystals, uneven thickness, and poor quality, while higher temperatures offer continuous crystal growth, uniform thickness, and improved quality, leading to enhanced cell efficiency. The optimal conditions identified are a blade speed of 1cm/sec at 130°C, achieving 16.28% efficiency. Applying these conditions to slot die coating at 130°C and 0.8cm/sec results in a high 13.95% efficiency.
